Bandsaw blades with spring set teeth for cutting logs

Bandsaw blades with spring set teeth for cutting logs are less and less used because of a high sawdust loss and a  rough resulted surface. The set amount must be the same on both sides and depends on the sawing conditions, the species of the cutting wood, the diameter of the logs, the material and the constructive version of the blade. info

The spring setting is performed at one third (1/3) from the height of the tooth, by inclining its top in a direction perpendicular to the plan of the blade. During the setting process it is very important to ensure the uniformity of the setting amount (the admitted value of the deviation being of ( + 0,05 mm)).
